Acacia Lodge No. 20

Free and Accepted Masons

Who we are

Acacia Lodge No. 20 is one of five Freemasonic Lodges that make up the 11th District of the most Ancient and Honorable Society of Free and Accepted Masons of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey.  We are based in Mine Hill, NJ.

Warranted in 1851, we celebrated our 150th anniversary in 2001. Regular Communications are held on the First and Third Wednesday, with Officer’s rehearsals on the opposite Wednesday’s, except during the months of July and August when the Lodge is on Summer Refreshment. Gavel sounds at 7:30PM. Dinner at 6:30PM.

Mission

To aid our fellow brothers and our community, and to make good men BETTER!

The Three Great Principles:

For many years Freemasons have followed three great principles:

Brotherly Love

Every true Freemason will show tolerance and respect for the opinions of others and behave with kindness and understanding to his fellow creatures.

Relief

Freemasons are taught to practice charity, and to care, not only for their own, but also for the community as a whole, both by charitable giving, and by voluntary efforts and works as individuals.

Truth

Freemasons strive for truth, requiring high moral standards and aiming to achieve them in their own lives.
